The president of Bolivia, Evo Morales, and Repsol president Antonio Brufau held a meeting in Bolivia, during which they agreed that the exploration of the Iñiguazú field will be carried out by a consortium led by Repsol.
Repsol earned a net profit of 1.583 billion euros in the first nine months of 2017, 41% more than during the same period of the previous year. These results reflect the strength of the company’s businesses, bolstered by the efficiency measures put in place to address the current context of low oil prices.
Repsol Chairman Antonio Brufau today inaugurated the third edition of the Energy for Europe Conferences organized by the company in Brussels. European Commission Vice-President Jyrki Katainen and other leaders were among the participants.
Repsol posted net income of 1.056 billion euros in the first half of 2017, a 65% increase over the 639 million obtained during the same period the previous year. This increase was driven by the company’s successful implementation of plans to increase efficiency and flexibility in the current oil price context.
